Your session fee reserves your portrait experience and includes pre-session consultation and planning, a portrait session for up to two dogs from the same household, a curated proof gallery, professional retouching of your selected images, and a guided artwork design and ordering appointment. It also includes a $200 artwork credit toward one of the Story Collections, beginning at $1,500.

Bijou Pet Photography is an artwork-first portrait studio. My work is designed to become tangible artwork you can see, hold, and enjoy beyond the screen. Digital files are included with purchased artwork for easy sharing and small personal prints. Larger display pieces are designed and produced through the studio using professional materials and finishes.

Absolutely. Many clients choose to be included in a few portraits with their dog. These images often become some of the most cherished from the session because they show the bond you share.

Sessions may take place in the studio, outdoors, at the beach, or in another meaningful location. During the pre-session consultation, we will talk through your dog’s personality, your vision, and the type of artwork you would like to create so I can recommend the best setting. The location is chosen intentionally, with your dog’s comfort, personality, and the final artwork in mind.

After your session, you will receive a curated proof gallery where you can select your favorite portraits. From there, I will guide you through the artwork design and ordering process, helping you choose the most beautiful way to bring your favorite portraits to life.

To preserve the memory of your dog with the care it deserves, I select from the most premium materials available to professional photographers. I offer custom wall art, heirloom albums, folio boxes, and matted fine art prints, each crafted with museum-quality standards and a modern range of colors, textures, and finishes. These are pieces you will return to again and again, and share with the people who understand just how much your dog means to you.

The session fee is $450 and artwork is purchased separately. After your session, you may select artwork à la carte or choose one of the Story Collections, beginning at $1,500. The $200 artwork credit included with your session fee may be applied toward any Story Collection. Most clients invest between $1,500 and $3,500 in their finished artwork, though some choose less and others choose more depending on what they decide to create.

That is completely normal. We will talk through your dog’s personality, comfort level, and needs during the pre-session consultation, and I will design the session with that in mind. That may mean working in the studio, choosing an outdoor location, creating a mix of both, or planning for a beach session if that setting feels right for your dog. Every dog is different, so I follow their lead rather than expecting them to perform. With patience, thoughtful guidance, and the right pace, even energetic, shy, or easily distracted dogs can be photographed beautifully. My goal is to create portraits that feel natural to who they are.

Yes. While Bijou Pet Photography specializes in dogs, I also photograph other beloved animals. If you have a cat, horse, or another animal you would like photographed, we can discuss the best approach during the pre-session consultation.
